Afterschool Art Class for Middle Schoolers: Illustration 101

Wednesdays, February 1-March 8 (six sessions), 3:30-5:30pm

Have you ever wondered how your favorite comic, anime, children’s book, or book cover was created? Learn the FUNdamentals behind the world of illustration in this new six-week course. Starting with the basics of form, light, and space, the course includes students designing posters, book covers, and/or graphic novel pages. This fun and friendly course is designed to allow everyone to discover their own artistic voice, what influences them, and what they’d like to do in the future. Final projects form the basis of each student’s artistic portfolio—a first step towards a flourishing artistic career.

Educational & Travel Program Refund Policy
No refunds for Broadway bus trips or Miss Florence’s Teas after transaction is complete. Refunds for programs over $20 are subject to a $20 cancellation fee. Refunds (less $20 fee) are offered for cancellations made prior to a program’s noted refund date. Programs without a refund date can be cancelled one hour prior to event.
